“Free Bird” Package for returning singers

Our "Free Bird" package is intended for singers who have experience with our choir program, but can't commit to a weekly group at this time. You will learn and participate in the all-group songs by attending the rehearsals listed below. This format will call for some work practicing on your own with rehearsal recordings.

Free Bird Rehearsal Schedule (4 meetings plus the performance):

~ Retreat and Kick-Off for All Groups

~ Week 4: You’ll be invited to rehearse with one of the weekly groups of your choice from 7-9pm. (Note: this is a change from previous years, adding an additional hour of rehearsal).

~ Mid-Semester Combined Group Rehearsal

~ Week 9-10: You’ll be invited to join one or more of the weekly groups on stage to sing the All-Group songs during their mini concert at a retirement home.

~ First Weekend of May: End-of-Semester Show for All Groups (Singer call time is 3:00).

Health Guidelines

  • Participants are strongly urged to stay home from if:

    • they are having symptoms of a contagious virus

    • they are testing positive for Covid 19

  • Masks are always welcome if you feel more comfortable wearing one for the health of yourself, other singers, or your loved ones. If you’ve had a known prolonged Covid exposure within the past 5-10 days we ask that you wear a mask to rehearsal even if you have tested negative so far.
